Abstract

We present a genome assembly from an individual female (the satellite; Arthropoda; Insecta; Lepidoptera; Noctuidae). The genome sequence is 467 megabases in span. The entire assembly (100%) is scaffolded into 32 chromosomal pseudomolecules with the W and Z sex chromosomes assembled. The complete mitochondrial genome was also assembled and is 15.5 kilobases in length. Gene annotation of this assembly on Ensembl has identified 18,065 protein coding genes.
