Abstract

This case report has the main objective of providing education surrounding the presentation, evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of envenomation and presenting a case of loxoscelism that occurred in an adult that subsequently presented to the emergency department. A secondary objective of this case report is to add to the literature of images bite wound images associated with loxoscelism that resulted in inpatient admission and treatment for acute hemolytic anemia.
