Two months after the introduction of the limited list eight general practitioners and six pharmacists in the Tayside region were asked about their patients' views on the introduction. Two general practitioners said that they had had virtually no problems or complaints, and another general practitioner said that six of 300 prescriptions had presented problems. The few problems that were reported by general practitioners and pharmacists had occurred mostly among the elderly, and a classification is given of the sorts of problems.
