Abstract

OBJECTIVE

This research is meant to evaluate the effectiveness of different bonding agents in minimally invasive cavity preparations at a tertiary care center.

MATERIALS AND METHODS

A prospective research was conducted involving patients requiring minimally invasive cavity preparations. Patients were randomly assigned to groups based on the bonding agent used. Standardized cavity preparations were performed, and bonding agent application followed manufacturer instructions. Outcome measures included bond strength and marginal adaptation. Data were analyzed using appropriate statistical methods.

RESULTS

Bonding Agent A exhibited the highest mean bond strength (25.6 MPa) and superior marginal adaptation (mean score: 4.2) compared to Bonding Agents B and C. These differences were statistically significant ( < 0.001 for bond strength, < 0.05 for marginal adaptation).

CONCLUSION

Bonding Agent A demonstrated superior performance in achieving durable and esthetically pleasing restorations in minimally invasive cavity preparations. These findings underscore the importance of selecting appropriate bonding agents for conservative dental treatments to optimize treatment outcomes and patient satisfaction.

本研究旨在评估不同粘结剂在三级医疗中心微创窝洞预备中的有效性。

材料与方法

进行了一项前瞻性研究,纳入需要进行微创窝洞预备的患者。根据所使用的粘结剂将患者随机分组。进行标准化的窝洞预备,并按照制造商说明应用粘结剂。观察指标包括粘结强度和边缘适应性。使用适当的统计方法对数据进行分析。

结果

与粘结剂B和C相比,粘结剂A表现出最高的平均粘结强度(25.6兆帕)和更好的边缘适应性(平均评分:4.2)。这些差异具有统计学意义(粘结强度<0.001,边缘适应性<0.05)。

结论

在微创窝洞预备中,粘结剂A在实现持久且美观的修复方面表现出卓越性能。这些发现强调了为保守牙科治疗选择合适粘结剂以优化治疗效果和患者满意度的重要性。
