Abstract
Echinococcus granulosus has been an uncommon disease in the United States. Cases may appear unexpectedly because of increased immigration from endemic areas. Over the past 3 years, 10 cases of hydatid liver disease were diagnosed by sonography in our institution. Sonography is a simple noninvasive method of early diagnosis even when clinical signs are nonspecific. The sonographic patterns of this condition are described.

细粒棘球绦虫病在美国一直是一种罕见疾病。由于来自流行地区的移民增加，病例可能会意外出现。在过去3年里，我们机构通过超声检查诊断出10例肝包虫病。即使临床症状不具特异性，超声检查仍是一种简单的早期诊断非侵入性方法。本文描述了这种疾病的超声图像特征。
