Abstract

Misdiagnosis of tenosynovitis is common due to the challenging identification and perceived rarity of the disease. This can result in delayed therapy initiation and potentially irreversible consequences. In this report, we present an additional case of hand tenosynovitis, which highlights the diagnostic and management challenges of tenosynovitis and provides further evidence of its emergence as a cause of tenosynovitis. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive summary of published case reports that describe tenosynovitis.

摘要
