[Immediate and near-term results of radiotherapy of uterine cancer using highly active 252Cf sources].

The paper is concerned with the results of therapy of 35 patients with Stage I-II uterine body cancer with the method of combined modality radiotherapy using neutron radiation of high energy 252Cf sources on the ANET-B unit with a system of automatic remote-control delivery of sources for intracavitary irradiation. The RBE was 3. A 3-12 mos. follow-up showed no progression and complications in the adjacent organs. This type of therapy proved to be of high efficacy. The study is to be continued.
