Abstract
We present a genome assembly from an individual female (a cranefly; Arthropoda; Insecta; Diptera; Tipulidae). The genome sequence is 692.2 megabases in span. Most of the assembly is scaffolded into 4 chromosomal pseudomolecules. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled and is 16.57 kilobases in length.
