The clinical signs, modern methods of diagnosis, and microsurgical management of meningiomas of Blumenbach's clivus are discussed in detail. Three variants of predominant direction of meningioma growth are distinguished. Adequate approaches were used according to the direction of the growth: subtemporal transtentorial in oral growth, paramedian in growth into the cerebellopontine angle, and a combined approach in total growth.
