Taking into account the follow-up of coronary heart disease patients from the acute phase of illness up to the social reinsertion the author proposes an approach whose goal is to modify Pattern A Behavior. Various approaches as behaviorism, dynamic psychology and psychoanalysis are complementary and have each one its importance in order to treat these "serious psychosomatic patients" as are coronary heart disease patients.
考虑到冠心病患者从疾病急性期到社会重新融入的随访情况，作者提出了一种旨在改变A型行为模式的方法。行为主义、动力心理学和精神分析等各种方法是相辅相成的，并且每种方法在治疗像冠心病患者这样的“严重身心疾病患者”时都有其重要性。
