BACKGROUND
Apalochrini is a tribe of the family Melyridae characterised by the shortened pedicel, with 13 genera recorded in China at present. Champion and Pascoe of Apalochrini are distributed in Asia and Southeast Asia, with the former genus extending to Australia, but not being found in China. In a recent expedition in the mangrove forests of Zhangzhou City (Fujian Province), eastern China, specimens of Asano ＆ Kawashima, 2010 and (Wittmer, 1956) were collected.
NEW INFORMATION
Champion is recorded from China for the first time and is newly recorded for Fujian Province. Diagnostic characters of is provided and is re-described in details. An updated key to genera of the Chinese Apalochrini, based on male characters, is given.

细花萤属是花萤科的一个族，其特征为梗节缩短，目前在中国已记录有13个属。细花萤属的Champion和Pascoe分布于亚洲和东南亚，前者分布至澳大利亚，但在中国未被发现。在中国东部福建省漳州市的红树林近期考察中，采集到了2010年的浅野和川岛标本以及（维特默，1956年）标本。
