Three patients with radiographically demonstrated "bulls eye" or "target" lesions of the stomach were found to have gastric metastases from carcinoma of the lung. In two of the three patients, upper gastrointestinal radiography was performed because of gastrointestinal bleeding. Awareness of this association may facilitate earlier recognition of the primary site or earlier recognition of metastatic disease in similar cases. The radiographic appearance of the lesions in these patients is presented, along with a discussion of the pathogenesis of these lesions.
