(Asteraceae), a new species of , is described and illustrated from Lushan in Sichuan, Southwest China. Its systematic position is evaluated based on a molecular phylogenetic analysis of the nuclear ribosomal and on morphological comparison with related species. It is morphologically similar to and , with purplish red abaxially leaves. But it differs from the latter two in that its caudex are glabrous, leaf margins are sparsely dentate, and being glabrous on both surfaces, 9-11 florets in each capitulum, and inner phyllaries are crested. Phylogenetic analysis based on ITS also showed this new species is closely related with and The three species . and , formed a basal group of , which is distributed in moist slopes in Southwest China.
菊科(Asteraceae)一新种,采自中国西南部四川庐山,予以描述并附图。基于核糖体DNA ITS的分子系统发育分析及与相关物种的形态比较,对其系统位置进行了评估。它在形态上与[物种名1]和[物种名2]相似,叶背面紫红色。但它与后两者的区别在于其根状茎无毛,叶缘具稀疏牙齿,两面无毛,每个头状花序有9 - 11朵小花,内层总苞片具嵴。基于ITS的系统发育分析还表明,这个新物种与[物种名1]和[物种名2]密切相关。这三个物种[物种名1]、[物种名2]和[新物种名],形成了[另一物种名]的一个基部类群,[另一物种名]分布于中国西南部潮湿山坡。
