Abstract

The article presents a review of scientific research on the issue of major aspects and far-reaching opportunities for the application of artificial intelligence in modern forensic medicine and forensic dentistry. The purpose of the research is to study the possibilities of application of artificial intelligence in the practice of forensic dental identification of personality based on literature data. Today, the application of artificial intelligence has made it possible to automate work processes, increase the accuracy, speed and efficiency of solving the issues of forensic dentistry, and improve the quality of forensic evidence provided. At the same time, like any technology, artificial intelligence is not without some disadvantages of practical application. In this regard, the opinion is expressed that it is advisable to use artificial intelligence systems only as an auxiliary tool, leaving the primary role in making final decisions to forensic medical examiners. Thus, the potential of development and prospects of practical application of artificial intelligence to solve the issues of forensic dentistry and improve the quality of the provided forensic evidence remain very promising.

本文对人工智能在现代法医学和法医牙科学中的主要方面及广泛应用机会的科学研究进行了综述。该研究的目的是基于文献数据,研究人工智能在法医牙科学中进行个体识别实践中的应用可能性。如今,人工智能的应用使工作流程自动化成为可能,提高了法医牙科学问题解决的准确性、速度和效率,并提升了所提供法医证据的质量。同时,与任何技术一样,人工智能在实际应用中也并非没有一些缺点。在这方面,有人认为仅宜将人工智能系统用作辅助工具,而将做出最终决定的主要角色留给法医鉴定人。因此,人工智能在解决法医牙科学问题及提高所提供法医证据质量方面的发展潜力和实际应用前景仍然非常广阔。
