The role of school nurse-teachers (SNTs) in supporting children with neurodevelopmental disorders (CNDs) in compulsory education schools has not been clarified. This study aimed to explore how these professionals manage challenges and provide tailored care for CNDs in such settings. We conducted a qualitative analysis of semi-structured interviews with experienced SNTs. The findings indicate that SNTs employ various strategies, including making environmental adjustments for children with sensory hypersensitivity, communicating clearly according to individual traits, and collaborating with other educators and parents to address the difficulties faced by CNDs. These approaches should be integrated into routine SNT practices to support children's health and improve their quality of life.
