In recent years, cyclic sulfone compounds, a subset of biologically active heterocyclic compounds, have gained considerable attention due to their potential in the development of novel active pharmaceutical ingredients. This review focuses on identifying simple, mild, environmentally friendly, and efficient synthesis methods.
