Self-efficacy is one of the factors affecting correct performance, especially in emergency and stressful situations. The mental state of people can affect their performance. The present study was conducted with the aim of determining the relationship between self-esteem and happiness with self-efficacy in the clinical practice of midwives working in medical centers and comprehensive health services in Isfahan city.
The present study was a quantitative correlational study that was carried out using a quota method on 200 midwives working in health centers and comprehensive health services in Isfahan in 2021-2022. The tools used in this research were happiness, self-esteem, and self-efficacy questionnaires in clinical practice. The collected data were analyzed by descriptive statistics and Pearson's correlation coefficient test.
The results showed that the average clinical performance self-efficacy score in midwives was 24.15 ± 109.02, the average happiness score was 14.95 ± 65.32, and the average self-esteem score was 24.40 ± 1.52. There is a significant relationship between the overall clinical performance self-efficacy score and both variables of happiness ( = 0.001, r = 0.03) and self-esteem ( = 0.04, r = 0.091).
According to the results of this study, paying attention to the happiness and self-esteem of midwives and promoting them can improve their efficiency and performance and ultimately improve the health of mothers and babies and then the society.
自我效能感是影响正确表现的因素之一,尤其是在紧急和压力情境中。人的心理状态会影响其表现。本研究旨在确定在伊斯法罕市医疗中心和综合健康服务机构工作的助产士临床实践中,自尊和幸福感与自我效能感之间的关系。
本研究是一项定量相关性研究,于2021 - 2022年采用配额法对200名在伊斯法罕健康中心和综合健康服务机构工作的助产士进行。本研究使用的工具是临床实践中的幸福感、自尊和自我效能感问卷。收集的数据通过描述性统计和皮尔逊相关系数检验进行分析。
结果显示,助产士临床绩效自我效能感平均得分为24.15±109.02,幸福感平均得分为14.95±65.32,自尊平均得分为24.40±1.52。临床绩效自我效能感总分与幸福感( = 0.001,r = 0.03)和自尊( = 0.04,r = 0.091)这两个变量之间均存在显著关系。
根据本研究结果,关注助产士的幸福感和自尊并加以提升,可以提高她们的效率和表现,最终改善母婴健康,进而造福社会。
