Transitional cell carcinoma was identified in 11 out of 600 autopsied cases of prostatic cancer (1.8%). Invasion into adjacent organs and tissues was recorded in 6 out of 11 cases, metastases--in 9 (bone lesions--5 cases). Most of the cases suffered poorly-differentiated transitional cell carcinoma (areas of undifferentiated small-cell tumor in some cases). Transitional cell carcinoma of the prostate is a highly malignant tumor, resistant to hormonal and radiation treatment.
在600例前列腺癌尸检病例中，发现11例存在移行细胞癌（1.8%）。11例中有6例记录有侵犯相邻器官和组织，9例有转移（骨转移5例）。大多数病例为低分化移行细胞癌（部分病例存在未分化小细胞肿瘤区域）。前列腺移行细胞癌是一种高度恶性肿瘤，对激素和放射治疗耐药。
