Abstract

A 48-year-old female, a known case of ulcerative colitis, on routine workup, was incidentally detected to have biochemical hyperthyroidism. Tc pertechnetate thyroid scintigraphy performed for the evaluation of hyperthyroidism revealed two foci of increased tracer uptake in the right thyroid lobe with suppressed uptake in the rest of the thyroid gland consistent with dual autonomously functioning thyroid nodules.

一名48岁女性,已知患有溃疡性结肠炎,在常规检查中偶然发现生化性甲状腺功能亢进。为评估甲状腺功能亢进进行的锝高锝酸盐甲状腺闪烁扫描显示,右甲状腺叶有两个放射性示踪剂摄取增加的病灶,甲状腺其余部分摄取受抑制,符合双侧自主性功能性甲状腺结节。
