A 12 1/2 months old girl with stage IV-neuroblastoma presented with a retroperitoneal primary and tumor infiltrations of the urinary bladder. She had multiple osseous metastases, unilateral orbital infiltrations and medullary tumor cell seeds. Treatment was exclusively chemotherapeutic. The primary tumour and the metastases regressed completely. Extensive calcifications resulted, and they slowly disappeared over a period of three years. The girl remains free of tumour 6 1/2 years after diagnosis and initiation of therapy and 4 1/2 years after its completion.
