We report on a 65-year-old woman having suffered from generalized morphea since 28 years. Chronic leg ulcers within atrophic areas have been known since 1960. Since 10 months, the ground of one of these large ulcerated scars has increasingly turned to cauliflower-like vegetation with its edge progressively heaped up. Biopsies confirmed the diagnosis of squamous cell carcinoma. We discuss possible ways of carcinogenesis of squamous cell carcinoma in generalized morphea.
