Abstract

Transcatheter edge to edge repair (TEER) has been proven to be safe and effective for mitral regurgitation (MR) caused by acute myocardial infarction (AMI). However, for some specific conditions, such as papillary muscle rupture complicating AMI, the feasibility of TEER is not yet fully determined. A 74-year-old woman with coronary disease developed acute MR and heart failure after AMI. Transesophageal echocardiography confirmed severe MR due to papillary muscle rupture. The patient underwent emergency TEER, which successfully reduced MR and improved symptoms. This case highlights the life-saving potential of the Dragonfly TEER system in treating acute MR after MI, particularly in patients with extremely high surgical risk.

经导管缘对缘修复术(TEER)已被证明对急性心肌梗死(AMI)所致二尖瓣反流(MR)安全有效。然而,对于一些特定情况,如AMI并发乳头肌破裂,TEER的可行性尚未完全确定。一名74岁患有冠心病的女性在AMI后出现急性MR和心力衰竭。经食管超声心动图证实为乳头肌破裂导致的严重MR。该患者接受了紧急TEER,成功减轻了MR并改善了症状。该病例凸显了蜻蜓TEER系统在治疗心肌梗死后急性MR方面的挽救生命潜力,尤其是对于手术风险极高的患者。
