Undergraduate nursing students' interpersonal skills are closely related to their clinical nursing competence, yet research on the effects of interpersonal sensitivity on interpersonal skills and its mediating mechanisms is not found.
To investigate the effects of interpersonal sensitivity on undergraduate nursing students' interpersonal skills and the mediating role of self-efficacy and subjective well-being.
This study was a cross-sectional design conducted in Henan Province, China, from March to April 2024, using convenience sampling method, questionnaires using Interpersonal Competence Questionnaire, Interpersonal Sensitivity Scale, General Self-Efficacy Scale, and Index of Well-Being were administered to 745 undergraduate nursing students. The resulting data were analyzed using SPSS 25.0, and structural equation modeling was constructed using Amos 26.0 to explore the mediating role of self-efficacy and subjective well-being between interpersonal sensitivity and interpersonal skill.
The interpersonal skill of undergraduate nursing students was at a moderate level (M ± SD: 116.16 ± 29.383), and interpersonal sensitivity had a significant negative effect on interpersonal skill (r = -0.373, p < 0.01). Self-efficacy and subjective well-being acted as chain mediators between interpersonal sensitivity and interpersonal skill, accounting for 6.51% of the total effect.
Nursing educators should emphasize the effect of interpersonal sensitivity on interpersonal skills and take feasible measures to improve the self-efficacy and subjective well-being of undergraduate nursing students to promote their interpersonal skills.

本研究采用横断面设计,于2024年3月至4月在中国河南省进行,采用便利抽样法,对745名本科护生发放人际能力问卷、人际敏感性量表、一般自我效能感量表和幸福感指数进行问卷调查。所得数据采用SPSS 25.0进行分析,并用Amos 26.0构建结构方程模型,以探讨自我效能感和主观幸福感在人际敏感性与人际技能之间的中介作用。
本科护生的人际技能处于中等水平(M±SD:116.16±29.383),人际敏感性对人际技能有显著负向影响(r=-0.373,p<0.01)。自我效能感和主观幸福感在人际敏感性与人际技能之间起链式中介作用,占总效应的6.51%。
护理教育工作者应重视人际敏感性对人际技能的影响,采取可行措施提高本科护生的自我效能感和主观幸福感,以促进其人际技能的提升。
