Abstract
Electronic cigarettes have become increasingly popular, and many people use them as a safer alternative to conventional cigarettes. However, the impact of electronic cigarette use on cardiovascular health is uncertain. Here, we queried national survey data to examine the relationship between electronic cigarette use and self-reported cardiovascular disease, and we identified an association between electronic cigarette use and angina and MI but not stroke or CHF.
