Abstract
Root canal irrigation is crucial in endodontics. Therefore, it is of interest to evaluate the antibacterial efficacy of various herbal root canal irrigants (Triphala, Neem (, green tea and (Turmeric)) against . Antimicrobial efficacy of the herbal irrigants and sodium hypochlorite was done using a brain-heart infusion method. The tested herbal irrigants had antibacterial efficacy against . Hence, these herbal irrigants are alternative to sodium hypochlorite.
