Kuan, "Protective Effect of Hibifolin on Lipopolysaccharide-Induced Acute Lung Injury Through Akt Phosphorylation and NFκB Pathway," Environmental Toxicology 40, no. 4 (2025): 524-531, https://doi.org/10.1002/tox.24383. The above article, published online on 9 August 2024 in Wiley Online Library (http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/), has been retracted by agreement between the authors; the journal Editor-in-Chief, April Rodd; and Wiley Periodicals LLC. The retraction has been agreed after the authors performed a re-evaluation of the statistical analysis. This corrected analysis revealed that critical results, such as the effects on adhesion molecule expression, IκB degradation, and Akt phosphorylation, no longer achieved statistical significance. These findings directly impact the reliability of the core conclusions of the paper. Furthermore, after publication, the journal identified insufficiencies during the peer review process. Therefore, the article must be retracted.
