[The medical record in Child Health Services].

The main objective of youth health care is to promote health as well as development in interaction with environmental factors (material and immaterial). Therefore it has a longitudinal character; medical registration ought to be in accordance with this. In this paper a number of examples is given of how youth health care has given shape to a longitudinal design of medical records in the last ten years.
