Abstract

Civilization diseases are a growing and global health problem in modern societies. Neurological disorders, cancer, and inflammatory diseases affect a large group of patients around the world. Therefore, it is of utmost importance to search for novel drugs, lifestyle tips, and foods that can help restore balance in the living organism, promote the efficiency of the immune system, and provide satisfactory prophylactic measures. Astragaloside IV (ASIV)-a triterpenoid saponin from species, one of the world's most widely used herbs-has been shown to have a variety of biological properties, including anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antitumor, and neuroprotective effects. In recent years, the number of in vivo studies on this active ingredient in the scientific literature has increased considerably. The aim of this review was therefore to compile the existing knowledge on the use of this compound in the treatment of selected diseases of civilization-cancer, neurological disorders, and inflammatory diseases-in vivo.

文明病是现代社会中日益严重的全球性健康问题。神经疾病、癌症和炎症性疾病影响着世界各地的大量患者。因此,寻找能够帮助恢复生物体平衡、提高免疫系统效率并提供令人满意的预防措施的新型药物、生活方式建议和食物至关重要。黄芪甲苷IV(ASIV)——一种来自黄芪属植物的三萜皂苷,黄芪是世界上使用最广泛的草药之一——已被证明具有多种生物学特性,包括抗炎、抗氧化、抗肿瘤和神经保护作用。近年来,科学文献中关于这种活性成分的体内研究数量大幅增加。因此,本综述的目的是汇编有关该化合物在体内治疗某些文明病——癌症、神经疾病和炎症性疾病——的现有知识。
