In childhood, fracture of the neck of the radius is rather common. Generally the fracture is localized in the metaphysis, sometimes with involvement of the epiphysis. Marginal sector fractures, which are common in adults, are very rare. Different types of fractures, indications for surgical treatment, therapeutic procedures, and results are discussed.
