Abstract

Event-related potentials (ERPs), measured using electroencephalography (EEG), are electrical brain potentials related to specific events, such as the presentation of visual stimuli. In this protocol, we describe steps for designing an ERP experimental task, measuring EEG, preprocessing EEG data in MATLAB, and exporting ERP data for statistical analyses.
