Chrysanthemum indicum L. (C. indicum) is a broadly dispersed natural medicinal plant belonging to the genus Chrysanthemum within the family Asteraceae. As an herb medicine and a novel food resource, it possesses multifaceted values such as ornamental, edible and even medicinal. The polysaccharides in C. indicum constitute a significant active component, exhibiting gratifying and remarkable pharmacological activities, including antiviral, alleviating liver damage, anti-glycation, antioxidant, and promoting wound healing effects. The article summarizes the research progress of the extraction and purification, structural characteristics, pharmacological activities, structural modifications, structure-activity relationships, and applications of C. indicum polysaccharides for the first time. Moreover, the current situation of related patent research is expounded, and the potential mechanism behind the pharmacological activities of C. indicum polysaccharides is elucidated. Meanwhile, the current limitations in the research on C. indicum polysaccharides have been analyzed, and future research directions have been proposed. Aiming to provide insights and perspectives for the in-depth exploration and study of C. indicum polysaccharides.
野菊花是菊科菊属中一种广泛分布的天然药用植物。作为一种草药和新型食品资源,它具有观赏、食用甚至药用等多方面价值。野菊花中的多糖是一种重要的活性成分,具有令人满意且显著的药理活性,包括抗病毒、减轻肝损伤、抗糖化、抗氧化以及促进伤口愈合等作用。本文首次综述了野菊花多糖的提取纯化、结构特征、药理活性、结构修饰、构效关系及应用等方面的研究进展。此外,阐述了相关专利研究现状,阐明了野菊花多糖药理活性背后的潜在机制。同时,分析了野菊花多糖研究目前存在的局限性,并提出了未来的研究方向。旨在为野菊花多糖的深入探索和研究提供思路与视角。
