Reconstruction of the Posterior Cruciate Ligament and Posterolateral Corner With a Concomitant Medial Tibial Plateau Impaction Fracture: A Single-Stage Technique.

With a hyperextension-type knee injury, ligament tears can be accompanied by concomitant anterior tibial plateau impaction fractures. Care must be taken to properly repair and reconstruct all structures to their native position to restore knee biomechanics. In this technique, we describe a single-stage anatomic posterior cruciate ligament and posterolateral corner reconstructions with an anteromedial tibial plateau open reduction internal fixation. Preoperative planning and an extensive anatomic understanding allows for efficiency during a single-stage surgery.
