This study examined the relationship between employee attachment style, organizational factors, and career satisfaction among adult employees in Turkey. A total of 288 (167 female, 121 male) employees working in two sectors participated in this study with an age range of 22 to 60 years ( = 31.8, = 7.4). Adult attachment styles were measured with the Relationship Scales Questionnaire and career satisfaction was assessed with the Career Satisfaction Scale. A series of multiple hierarchical regression analyses and correlational analyses were conducted to examine the relationship between career satisfaction, attachment style, and organizational factors. The results revealed that organizational factors and attachment styles are important predictive measures of career satisfaction. A unique finding was the positive relationship between dismissing attachment and career satisfaction, a result we interpret as an outcome related to economic insecurity and crisis. Both theoretical and applied implications of the results are discussed and suggestions for future directions are addressed.
本研究考察了土耳其成年员工的员工依恋风格、组织因素与职业满意度之间的关系。共有288名(167名女性,121名男性)在两个部门工作的员工参与了本研究,年龄范围为22至60岁(平均年龄=31.8岁,标准差=7.4)。使用关系量表问卷测量成人依恋风格,并用职业满意度量表评估职业满意度。进行了一系列多元层次回归分析和相关分析,以检验职业满意度、依恋风格和组织因素之间的关系。结果表明,组织因素和依恋风格是职业满意度的重要预测指标。一个独特的发现是轻视型依恋与职业满意度之间存在正相关关系,我们将这一结果解释为与经济不安全和危机相关的结果。讨论了研究结果的理论和应用意义,并提出了未来研究方向的建议。
