The iliofemoral ligament is one of the key stabilizers of the hip joint. Disruption of this soft tissue restraint may result in hip instability and alteration in normal hip biomechanics. The purpose of this article is to describe a technique for primary repair of the iliofemoral ligament using arthroscopy. We describe a double-row suture technique that primarily repairs the ligament without the need for capsular plication or allograft use.
