Abstract

This study aimed to evaluate the effects of community nursing simulation education on the nursing core competencies, clinical performance, and clinical judgment in home-visit nursing of nursing college students. A nonequivalent control group pretest-post-test design was used. Data were collected in August 2024 from the control group ( = 65) and in February 2025 from the experimental group ( = 64), with both groups comprising fourth-year students older than 20 years and from the same nursing college in Korea. Data analysis included an independent -test carried out using SPSS 25.0 software. We found significant differences between the control and experimental groups in terms of the students' nursing core competence ( = 4.88, < 0.001, Cohen's = 0.86), clinical judgment ( = 4.53, < 0.001, Cohen's = 0.80), and clinical competence ( = 4.52, < 0.001, Cohen's = 0.00). The simulation education program applied in this study can be utilized as an intervention for nursing college students and be further developed for nursing students from other universities.

本研究旨在评估社区护理模拟教育对护理专业大学生家庭访视护理中护理核心能力、临床绩效和临床判断的影响。采用非等效对照组前后测设计。2024年8月从对照组(n = 65)收集数据,2025年2月从实验组(n = 64)收集数据,两组均为韩国同一护理学院20岁以上的四年级学生。数据分析包括使用SPSS 25.0软件进行的独立t检验。我们发现,对照组和实验组在学生的护理核心能力(t = 4.88,p < 0.001,科恩d = 0.86)、临床判断(t = 4.53,p < 0.001,科恩d = 0.80)和临床能力(t = 4.52,p < 0.001,科恩d = 0.00)方面存在显著差异。本研究中应用的模拟教育项目可作为护理专业大学生的一种干预措施,并可为其他大学的护理学生进一步开发。
