Mycoplasma synoviae (MS) causes infectious synovitis and eggshell abnormalities in chickens, leading to major economic losses. Vaccination is essential for control, but strain differences often reduce effectiveness. To develop a region-specific inactivated vaccine, MS strains were isolated from poultry farms, and a highly virulent strain (CD-1) was selected using embryo infection assays. A chicken-challenge model identified footpad injection of 0.2 mL at 10⁸ CCU/mL as the optimal infection method. Inactivated vaccines using CD-1 (10¹⁰ CCU/mL) with white oil or propolis adjuvants were tested. The propolis-based vaccine showed the best protection, reaching 80 % efficacy at 0.3 mL/bird, outperforming the white oil and commercial vaccines. This study supports the development of targeted MS vaccines for Hebei.
滑膜支原体(MS)可导致鸡发生感染性滑膜炎和蛋壳异常,从而造成重大经济损失。疫苗接种对于防控至关重要,但毒株差异往往会降低疫苗效果。为研发一种针对特定地区的灭活疫苗,从家禽养殖场分离出MS毒株,并通过胚胎感染试验选择了一种高毒力毒株(CD - 1)。鸡攻毒模型确定,以10⁸ CCU/mL的浓度脚垫注射0.2 mL为最佳感染方法。对使用CD - 1(10¹⁰ CCU/mL)与白油或蜂胶佐剂制成的灭活疫苗进行了测试。基于蜂胶的疫苗显示出最佳的保护效果,每只鸡接种0.3 mL时效力达到80%,优于白油疫苗和市售疫苗。本研究支持为河北地区研发针对性的MS疫苗。
