A 66-year-old man presented with a gray-yellow mass on the optic disk associated with retinal hemorrhage and a branch retinal artery obstruction. Follow-up over a several-month period disclosed the disappearance of the yellow tissue and the presence of a retinal arterial macroaneurysm. Such a lesion should be considered in the differential diagnosis of tumors of the optic nerve head.
