The structure of the title solvated bis--heterocyclic carbene palladium(II) complex, [PdI(CHNO)·CHO, exhibits a slightly distorted square-planar coord-in-ation at the palladium(II) atom, with the six-membered chelate ring adopting a boat conformation. One disordered ethanol solvent mol-ecule was co-crystallized. There are inter-molecular O-H⋯O hydrogen bonds in the structure. The chiral centers of the precursor imidazolium salt was preserved during the metalation process.
标题溶剂化双杂环卡宾钯(II)配合物[PdI(CHNO)·CHO]的结构在钯(II)原子处呈现出略微扭曲的平面正方形配位,六元螯合环呈船式构象。一个无序的乙醇溶剂分子共结晶。结构中存在分子间O-H⋯O氢键。前体咪唑盐的手性中心在金属化过程中得以保留。
