Hamstring autograft is one of the most commonly used grafts for anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction, and a variety of graft preparation techniques have been described. Increased graft diameters have been associated with higher success rates and more positive long-term outcomes. We describe a simple 3-strand hamstring autograft braid technique to increase the diameter of the graft without adding extra tendons.
