Abstract

L. (1753), a tree species in the family Malvaceae, is widely cultivated in tropical regions  for its applications in food, medicine, and biodiesel production. This study reports the first complete chloroplast genome sequence of , which is 162,637 bp long with a GC content of 36.68%, containing a large single-copy region (91,324 bp), a small single-copy region (20,347 bp), and two inverted repeat regions (25,483 bp each). The genome encodes 130 genes: 85 protein-coding genes, eight rRNA genes, and 37 tRNA genes. Phylogenetic analysis shows is closely related to .

锦葵科的一种树种L.(1753年),因其在食品、医药和生物柴油生产中的应用而在热带地区广泛种植。本研究报道了L.的首个完整叶绿体基因组序列,其长度为162,637 bp,GC含量为36.68%,包含一个大单拷贝区域(91,324 bp)、一个小单拷贝区域(20,347 bp)和两个反向重复区域(各25,483 bp)。该基因组编码130个基因:85个蛋白质编码基因、8个rRNA基因和37个tRNA基因。系统发育分析表明L.与 密切相关。
