Abstract
A 12-year-old boy with a severe progressive congenital kyphoscoliosis associated with an intrathoracic meningocele developed a spastic paraparesis. The meningocele was excised to permit anterior spinal cord decompression and spinal fusion. He has remained paraparetic.
