Abstract

Pseudoaneurysm of the mitral-aortic intervalvular fibrosa (MAIVF) may develop as a complication of endocarditis or aortic valve surgery. Aortic regurgitation (AR) may contribute to the development of a pseudoaneurysm as the jet weakens the MAIVF region. We present a case of MAIVF aneurysm with an unusual mechanism of AR without any valvular or root pathology, delineated clearly by transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) intraoperatively warranting a change in surgical plan to spare the valve instead of the pre-planned aortic valve replacement.

二尖瓣 - 主动脉瓣间纤维三角（MAIVF）假性动脉瘤可能作为心内膜炎或主动脉瓣手术的并发症出现。主动脉瓣反流（AR）可能导致假性动脉瘤的形成，因为血流喷射会削弱MAIVF区域。我们报告一例MAIVF动脉瘤病例，其主动脉瓣反流机制异常，无任何瓣膜或根部病变，术中经食管超声心动图（TEE）清晰显示，这使得手术计划改变，保留瓣膜而非按原计划进行主动脉瓣置换。
