Evaluation of Attention Concentration in Sexually Mature Male Rhesus Monkeys (Macaca mulatta) and Hamadryas Baboons (Papio hamadryas).

A comparative study of the level of concentration of attention and related indicators (reaction latency, level and dynamics of activity during task solving, and number of approaches) was conducted in mature male rhesus monkeys (Macaca mulatta) and hamadryas baboons (Papio hamadryas). It was found that all the studied indicators in baboons were higher than in macaques. At the same time, macaques and baboons showed similar dynamics of activity during the test.
