Abstract

In this study, we sequenced and annotated the complete mitochondrial genome of . The 16,970 bp mitogenome contains 13 protein-coding genes, 22 transfer RNA genes (duplications of and ), and two ribosomal RNA genes. The phylogenetic analysis of the 13 protein-coding genes in echinoderms indicated that has a close evolutionary relationship with (Apodida: Synaptidae).
