Long-term keeping of guinea pigs on antioxidant-free diet was shown to increase the rate of free-radical oxidation processes after local exposure to 20 Gy gamma-radiation. Alimentary antioxidant deficiency enhanced new formation and growth of young axons, inhibited myelinization both in the exposed and contralateral nonirradiated nerves being regenerated after ligating thereof.
长期给豚鼠喂食无抗氧化剂的饮食,结果显示,在局部暴露于20 Gy伽马辐射后,自由基氧化过程的速率会增加。饮食中抗氧化剂缺乏会促进新生轴突的形成和生长,抑制暴露侧和对侧在结扎后正在再生的未受辐射神经的髓鞘形成。
