The result of 145 patients with advanced primary lung cancer treated by cisplatin alone or combined cisplatin and 60Co radiation from June 1981 to August 1983 is reported. 75 of these cases were clinical stage III and 70 stage IV. 57 (39%) were proved by pathology and 64 (44%) by cytology, totalling 121 (83%) as non-small cell lung cancers. The other 24 (17%) were diagnosed by clinical means. All the patients were divided into two groups. Group I, 26 cases were treated by cisplatin alone. In this group, no complete response was found, the partial response rate was 31% and 1-year survival rate was 40%. Group II, 119 patients were treated by the combination of cisplatin and 60Co radiation. Complete response rate was 16%, partial 59%, 1 and 2-year survival rates were 52% and 33%, respectively. The results show that the combination of cisplatin and 60Co therapy is more effective for the advanced lung cancers.
报告了1981年6月至1983年8月期间145例晚期原发性肺癌患者单独使用顺铂或联合顺铂与60钴放疗的治疗结果。其中75例为临床Ⅲ期，70例为Ⅳ期。57例（39%）经病理证实，64例（44%）经细胞学证实，共计121例（83%）为非小细胞肺癌。另外24例（17%）通过临床手段诊断。所有患者分为两组。第一组，26例单独使用顺铂治疗。该组未发现完全缓解，部分缓解率为31%，1年生存率为40%。第二组，119例患者采用顺铂与60钴联合放疗。完全缓解率为16%，部分缓解率为59%，1年和2年生存率分别为52%和33%。结果表明，顺铂与60钴联合治疗对晚期肺癌更有效。
