The length of the oculomotory nerve in the midbrain, in the cisterns, and the orbit to the muscles Mm. rectus superior, rectur inferior, obliquus inferior, and rectus medialis are measured on 91 objects. Also the distances between the margins of the orbit and the most anterior nerve fibers to the muscles are estimated.
