Abstract

Four cases of xanthogranulomatous pyelonephritis, treated at the Department of Urology of the Military Medical Academy, are described. Focal lesions of the kidney were found in all of them. A precise pre- and intraoperative diagnosis is impossible or doubtful because the clinical symptoms and macroscopic appearance of the involved kidney suggest the presence of a tumour. Treatment consists mainly in nephrectomy.

本文描述了在军事医学科学院泌尿外科治疗的4例黄色肉芽肿性肾盂肾炎。所有病例均发现肾脏有局灶性病变。由于受累肾脏的临床症状和肉眼外观提示存在肿瘤，因此术前和术中很难做出准确诊断或诊断存疑。治疗主要包括肾切除术。
