A parasagittal arterio-venous malformation with symptoms and signs of intracranial hypertension, is reported. The CT scan was considered normal, but following contrast enhancement the responsible lesion was demonstrated. The pertinent literature is briefly reviewed and possible pathogenetic mechanisms for the intracranial hypertension are discussed.
