Abstract

The history, clinical course, and the 17 year follow-up after surgery are reported in a patient who had an epidermoid tumour removed from the fourth ventricle. The gross appearance of the contents of the tumour showed multiple tissue aggregates, with the classical pearl-like appearance. Previous cases reported in the literature are collated.

报告了一名第四脑室表皮样瘤切除患者的病史、临床病程及术后17年的随访情况。肿瘤内容物的大体外观显示为多个组织聚集体，呈现出典型的珍珠样外观。对文献中报道的既往病例进行了整理。
